For the past 16 ½ years Mr. Francis Irvin served on our Board of Directors. He was never without work and his commitment to engage others was forthcoming, but never harsh. Mr. Francis was a man of substance in ways far beyond the visible. He said what needed to be said and thought carefully about what he was going to do before he did it. His life was planned!!! We will miss his energy…that's right; he had more energy than many of us.
He touched so many lives in this country, because he did not just sit at home and wonder…he took action. He traveled all over and in so doing, he inspired us and people all across the Country. His smile will be a part of us forever, because he found the joy in all of lives events. He has inspired our youth at the Boys & Girls Club to learn and grow. He shared a message of hope that was never misguided. Mr. Francis truly cared about everything. He spent his time productively making things better for others. We are fortunate to have shared a spot with him in our midst. He will surely be missed!
